Special Honor
2006 - Since 1998, these young ladies have worked in support of the GAT community by serving as demonstrators and teachers for the USAG Group Gymnastics as well as ambassadors at the past two World Gymnaestradas. They have volunteered many hours to serve at these GAT conventions without any compensation while continuing their own training. They have also displayed themselves in the most professional manner representing Texas like real champions. They have always been willing to assist anyone in this new field of Group Gymnastics if they needed help. For all of this, we want these young ladies to know that the country stands in “awe” of Texas and all they represent. This is why we present to you the “Pride of Texas” award and to say thank you for caring enough to be the best of Texas athletes. The best of luck to you at the next World Gymnaestrada in Austria in 2007. This is what the PRIDE OF TEXAS is all about. Congratulations and Thank You ladies, for caring enough to be the BEST!

All of this was done in the most professional manner representing TEXAS like real champions. Never quitting, never complaining about the long hours - - just a sking if “anyone” needed help. Everywhere they traveled, endless accolades of appreciation for their professionalism at such a young age. And, of course, the country stands in AWE of Texas and what we represent.
